Death Cafe

WHAT IS A DEATH CAFE?

A Death Cafe is an opportunity to come together as a community, to discuss ideas about death (and life!) in a light hearted way.
We will eat cake, drink tea and listen to each other as we openly share our hopes, fears and our many questions about death that might lead us to lead a more meaningful life.

I will simply be facilitating the conversation and will offer guidelines and prompts if needed -however, this is not intended as a grief support group.

The Death Cafe was started by Jon Underwood in 2011 to help people come together to talk about the very thing that we will all experience in our lives, but have very limited access to talking about. Read more about the Death Cafe Society here.

I have always been interested in talking about death as a way of looking at life, and this will be my first stab (sorry) at taking on the taboo topic with a group of like minded individuals.

I will hold 4 Death Cafes this year at
